Castle Stream Roadburn Performance, Prepare For Tour With The Sword

In case you weren't able to make it to the annual Roadburn festival this year in The Netherlands, where female-fronted doom rock trio CASTLE appeared alongside the likes of High on Fire, Pallbearer and Royal Thunder, audio of the band's entire performance is now available for streaming here: http://www.roadburn.com/audio-streams.

Along with their acclaimed Roadburn appearance in the midst of a European tour supporting Intronaut, CASTLE was also recently seen on the stages of London's Desertfest and the Doom In June festival in Las Vegas, NV. The band will continue to support their 2012 release "Blacklands" -- produced by Billy Anderson (EyeHateGod, Neurosis, Cathedral) -- by joining labelmates Scale The Summit on the last week of Intronaut's U.S. tour before supporting The Sword on a full North American tour later this summer. BLOODY HAMMERS Complete New Album; Announce First Tour Dates

American doomsters BLOODY HAMMERS have completed work on their forthcoming album Spiritual Relics, to be released worldwide on Oct 1st.

"We didn't have any live shows booked when our current self-titled album was released," said Anders Manga, Bloody Hammers' vocalist/bassist and songwriter. “It was much more successful than anticipated, but we didn't have much to do at the time, so we went back in the studio while waiting for tour dates to be confirmed. We're very pleased with the result and look forward to getting it out to the fans. The album is packed with more heavy fuzzed out eeriness and horror, as well as some chilled-out creepy southern gothic pieces. It will be released just in time for Halloween, and our performance at Phil Anselmo's Housecore Horror Film Fest in Austin, TX."

CASTLE ANNOUNCES SUMMER TOUR WITH THE SWORD

Female-fronted doom rock trio CASTLE are excited to announce that in addition to supporting Intronaut and labelmates Scale The Summit on select dates next month, they will join The Sword on an upcoming North American tour. The band's full itinerary can be found below.

CASTLE's new album "Blacklands" was recently nominated for "Album of the Year" in the Metal/Hard Music category at the Juno Awards, Canada's equivalent to the Grammys. The band recently performed at the annual Doom in June Fest in Las Vegas upon returning from a European tour, which included multiple shows with Intronaut and performances at the prestigious Roadburn festival and Desertfest.

Chains premiere new video from SVART 7" EP

Today, drone/doom cult CHAINS premiere the video for "Dancing With My Demons" on heavily trafficked web-portal GunShyAssassin.com. The song is the title track to CHAINS's Dancing With My Demons 7" EP, released in March by SVART RECORDS. CHAINS was born in 2010 as a hypnotic drone/doom project in the vein of Sunn O))), Moss, and Urfaust but with a '70s horror vibe influenced by bands like Death SS and Paul Chain. In 2012, after the release of the first opus, Of Death, Lord Samhain (also in Hour of 13) joined the project. He now plays drums in the duo. At this point, the music took a retro-evolution and became a hybrid between '80s Italian dark doom, deathrock, and '80s dark metal. On their next album, which is currently being worked on, CHAINS will revive the vintage horror doom style with a spice of alchemic elements and simple, hypnotic riffs.
