WINDHAND ENTER STUDIO, NEW ALBUM THIS FALL

Richmond, VA psychedelic doomsters WINDHAND have entered the studio with legendary producer Jack Endino (Nirvana, Soundgarden, High on Fire). The band is recording their highly anticipated third full-length album at Soundhouse Recording in Seattle, WA. The currently untitled album will see a fall release via Relapse Records and promises to be their most ambitious record to date. The album will contain nine songs including titles like "Two Urns", "Hyperion" and "Kingfisher".

Virgina doomsters WINDHAND released a music video for the song “Orchard” off their off their latest album titled 'Soma'.

WINDHAND REVEAL NORTH AMERICAN TOUR DATES

Richmond psyche-doom practitioners WINDHAND have revealed a three week run of headlining North American fall tour dates. The shows kick off on August 24th in Richmond, VA and include support from psychedelic Nashville outift, All Them Witches plus Jex Thoth and Ilsa on select dates. The band has also been hand picked as openers for the legendary SLEEP’s sold out show in Philadelphia on August 26th. 2014 has already seen the band traverse North America and Europe with Relapse label-mates Inter Arma and Indian including appearances at SXSW, Maryland Deathfest, and Roadburn.
