CASTLE RELEASE NEW MUSIC VIDEO FOR "A KILLING PACE"

"A Killing Pace", the new video from San Francisco doom-tinged heavy metal trio CASTLE, can be seen below. The clip was directed by Jaan Silmberg for Toronto-based Pistoltrixx.

"A Killing Pace" is taken from the bands third album “Under Siege” – which was produced by Billy Anderson (Cathedral, Sleep, Neurosis) and described by Terrorizer as "marrying doom laden riffery to a gloriously no-bullshit heavy metal backbone".

CASTLE guitarist and songwriter Mat Davis stated about the new music video, "We wanted to dial in the brooding intensity of the song with claustrophobic images and make it play visually like a haunted roller-coaster ride to the psyche".

IDES OF GEMINI PREMIERE "SEER OF CIRCASSIA" VIDEO

Today IDES OF GEMINI reveal the occult conjurings of their erotic Daciana Birladeanu-directed "Seer Of Circassia" video. Elaborates singer/bassist Sera Timms, "The concept of the album [Old World New Wave] traces the symbolic-psychological breakdown of a character over ten days ['Seer Of Circassia' takes place on day four]. We're working within the structures of psycho-spiritual alchemical transformation, utilizing Carl Jung's school of analytical psychology. Essentially we have a story of the psychological conflict of opposing forces -- yin-yang, male/female/dark light, etc. -- each driven by desire. The masculine archetype in this story desires control and structure, while the feminine archetype desires recognition and equality as it has been repressed in the 'Old World.' Our protagonist is the Emperor, based creatively on the last Emperor of Constantinople, who represents the ego, masculine, solar consciousness along with control, structure, domination, force and power."

ALL THEM WITCHES PREMIERE NEW VIDEO FOR "CHARLES WILLIAM"

All Them Witches, the Nashville-based delta-psych quartet, have released the video for "Charles William"

“Charles William” comes from the band’s recently released album Lightning At The Door. The eight-song offering finds All Them Witches merging their psych-background with the rustic inspiration their stomping grounds afford.  Brooklyn Vegan described the album as “a heady brew of swirling tones and heavy blue-eyed blues rock” while The Obelisk effused “It is a stunning work in its clarity of aesthetic and in its songcraft, resulting in eight memorable tracks each distinguished by one part or another but all feeding into a complete, overarching whole that’s immersive, sprawling and the influence of which has already begun to be felt and, one suspects, will continue to be felt for some time.”

BLUES DUO 'THE PICTUREBOOKS' RELEASE NEW VIDEO FOR 'PCH DIAMOND'

It's not surprising that The Picturebooks recorded their 2014 album, Imaginary Horse (RidingEasy Records), in the same garage where they regularly refurbish and repair motorcycles and choppers.

The German duo - Fynn Claus Grabke (vocals, guitar) and Philipp Mirtschink (drums) - capture a raw, rich, and real energy befitting of the room's natural reverb, industrial aura, and spiritual spark. Most importantly, the record also begins to rev up the boys' career like never before.

Fynn and Philipp first crossed paths at a local skate park. Becoming fast friends, they realized their mutual interests extended beyond shredding half-pipes and into music like The Smiths, The Cure, and Minor Threat. Soon, they began writing songs together, utilizing equipment Fynn's dad Claus had accumulated over his years as a musician and record producer.

ALUNAH PREMIERE 'HEAVY BOUGH', WATCH IT HERE

Taking a first glance at Alunah it’s easy to end up doing a double take to make sure it isn’t a photo of Fleetwood Mac circa ’75 or something but it isn’t. Any similarities from the band’s photo are completely washed away as Alunah start playing. Their doom laden brand of psychedelic rock immediately reminded me of Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats the doom version. They have released the first single and video for Heavy Bough and though it is my first time hearing Alunah, based on this, it won’t be my last. I’ve got a little catching up to do as this is off their upcoming third release. Take a listen to Alunah yourself then get all the pre-order deets. Just a note on the vid, it would appear that demons should not do shrooms or maybe I’m wrong since he manages to stumble into Alunah’s jam session and take possession of their lovely lead lady!

CORROSION OF CONFORMITY PREMIERE NEW VIDEO FOR "ON YOUR WAY"

One of my long time favorites Corrosion of Conformity have changed their sound probably more than any other band in metal history starting as a punk/hardcore band morphing into a thrashy metal band then adding southern flare with the addition of guitar guru Pepper Keenan and now Pepper-less CoC dropped their ninth studio album, IX (duh!), earlier this year which is a bit of a mix of their entire history of sound. Their self titled 2012 release marked CoC’s return minus Pepper Keenan who left to serve full time with Down followed later that year by the Ep Megalodon both excellent but turning the southern groove flare that Keenan had brought to the band into more of a sludge sound, no complaints here.

WATCH ELECTRIC WIZARD'S NEW VIDEO FOR 'SADIOWITCH' HERE

Electric Wizard have premiered a visual piece for SadioWitch made by Shazzula, a song from their forthcoming full-length Time to Die (Sept. 30, Spinefarm Records) posted below.

According to Wizard vocalist / guitarist Jus Oborn, the footage – captured in
various locations, including Iceland – features “Clandestinely filmed scenes of Luciferian depravity” of the kind “long-awaited by the diehard cult of Wizard fans... A visual amalgamation of Kenneth Anger's psychedelic occultism, the monomania of Jess Franco and the unbridled excess of Robert Hartford Davies, documenting fully the pleasures of the flesh, drugs and sadism... as they really happen today...”

ALL THEM WITCHES RELEASE NEW VIDEO FOR "WHEN GOD COMES BACK"

Nashville's bluesy psych band ALL THE WITCHES unveiled their video today for "When God Comes Back". The track is off their forthcoming album release, "Lighting At The Door" out Sept 16.

The young band recorded the album in just a few days but the result is gritty, southern psych rock gem. “We tracked everything live in the same room,” explains singer/bass player Michael Parks, Jr.  “We got a lot of bleed form the mics and the amps being together.  Everything felt organic.”

SABBATH ASSEMBLY - I, Satan [Music Video]

Today, the ever-singular SABBATH ASSEMBLY premiere the video for “I, Satan”. The most monstrous track from their highly anticipated third album, Quaternity, set for international release on March 28th via SVART RECORDS, the video for "I, Satan" was created entirely by the band, and the song features text from sacred Process Church of the Final Judgment scriptures, all written from the standpoint of the Lord of the Underworld. The song delivers a brutal assault with lines such as “Burn the chaff of humanity, dance proud around the leaping flames,” and “Put aside your litanies, priest, Satan does not retreat.” Additional lyrical inspiration comes from “Inno A Satana” a classic poem used in Satanic liturgies since it was published in1865, written by Italian Nobel Prize Winner Giosue Carducci.

THE GRAVIATORS - Narrow Minded Bastards (Official Video)

After the release of their fantastic and critically acclaimed full length "Evil Deeds" and the split 7" with their label mates MONKEY3, THE GRAVIATORS return with their latest studio effort "Motherload". The brilliant vintage analog sound combines the Hard Rock of the Seventies with a good dose of Doom Metal and Stoner Rock. For the very first time, THE GRAVIATORS pay homage to their cultural heritage. The result is the song "Leifs Last Breath / Dance of the Valkyrie". It is an epic track that could have been written by Quorthon (BATHORY) himself. The songs give off an occult vibe that mainly results from the enthralling vocals. A special bonus is the re-recording of "Druid´s Ritual", a classic from the band's back catalogue. The song clocks in at almost 14min and is a testament to the band's brilliance. "Motherload" is an impressive Doom Stoner Metal album filled with highlights and will elevate THE GRAVIATORS from being an insider's tip to the top of the scene.
